Acute pain warns us of an injury and is recommended to treat, as soon as possible. For example, neck stiffness after waking up in the morning can progress into a chronic condition if left untreated. Typically a few acupuncture treatments can resolve the pain, thus preventing progression into long term chronic pain.

Nerve pain: whenever discomfort or pain lasts longer than 3-4 weeks, that feeling can permanently be ingrained in the nervous system nervous system thus holding memory of the pain. Even when the original problem has been healed, the pain can remain, this is called pain memory.  At Aculosophy, we place needles on specially selected parts of the body, in close proximity to the nerves. Gentle electro stimulation will reset these pain memories and nerves will start to fire normal signals to the brain, which will result in less pain.The longer the body stays pain free memory, the more established that pain free memory becomes.

At our clinic we have specially designed protocols for every fibromyalgia patient, which include acupuncture, herbal therapy , breathing exercises, nutrition and lifestyle changes. This will in turn help to improve the delivery of fresh oxygenated blood to the brain thus improving sleep, pain reduction and increase mitochondrial activities allow the increase in energy.  Proper diagnosis and assessments are used to determine and identify which stage of the conditions are being affected.
